Principal

 

Ms. Brown is the principal at Randolph Park Elementary. She has served in that capacity for four years. Prior to Randolph Park, she was the principal of Cobb Preparatory Academy for two years.

Prior to becoming the principal of Cobb Preparatory Academy, she was a third-grade teacher at Tenth Street Elementary. There she taught third grade for 12 years. During that tenure, she served as the grade-level chair, the technology coordinator, and the school designee when the principal was absent.

From 2010 until 2014, she served as the District Technology Coordinator for Anniston City Schools. She installed 21st Century Classrooms into every elementary classroom.

She began her teaching career with the Alexander City School District in 1998. She was a Title I Reading Resource teacher at Stephens Elementary School.

She holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University. She earned her leadership certification from The University of Alabama. Then she earned a Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University. She is a member of several professional organizations, such as CLAS and AAESA. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
